The Hadley Foundation Art Collection includes nearly 500 works of art created by Kansas artists.
Message"One of the things I like about watercolor is the spontaneity of it. You have an idea of what you want, but a lot of times, with watercolor, it’s like a controlled accident. When you work with watercolors, as long as I have, you know what it’s going to do with a certain amount of pigment and a certain amount of water and paper that’s a certain dryness level. And sometimes it may form an effect that you really like and don't expect. I guess that’s where the 'controlled accident' phrase comes from.”

Terry attended Emporia State University and got his teaching degree in art and Master of Science in Education with an art major. He married a fellow art student while attending ESU. His wife, Deb, has been very influential in his career. The two traveled together, showing their perspective work.
