Terry MacDonald worked in broadcasting and advertising with her husband Jim, retiring after 30 years. After her retirement, she took to painting, experimenting with styles and mediums. She began going to workshops and now spends most of her day in her studio. MacDonald describes her work as "joyful art," using bright and vivid colors to reimagine nature. She teaches beginner's painting courses and is heavily involved in the art community. She volunteers for local art organizations and participates in local art fairs. “If my work makes someone smile or brightens their day, I am fulfilled as an artist.”-Terry MacDonald
