Robert Green, born 1909, earned his Master of Fine Arts from Yale University. He did a two-year fellowship at the American Academy in Rome. He taught at the University of Kansas from 1946 until his retirement in 1979. Green was primarily known for his work in watercolors. His work remains in numerous private and public collections. The Hadley Art Collection showcases two of his pieces.
