Malcolm Childers was a California native who began his passion for art at a young age. He received education from Riverside Community College, Humboldt State University, and Fullerton State University. He taught art at Southern College, Cleveland State College, and the University of Tennessee. He published a retrospective one-man show called 'Roadsongs.' It served as a reflection of visual and language arts. It received very positive reviews and showcased the artist's innovation. "Odds are, you could find yourself here in this passage between moonlight and dawn. Seeing change move through the backwater eddies and the mainstream flows of the world around you. Thinking about things that have already been and might yet be. Being intimate with each moment and in that labor of love, you will grow through the fleeting moments you have left to become richly alive. There is a place where streets meet, highways."
