Kris Kuksi is a world-renowned sculptor and experimental assemblage artist whose work reflects the intense thought invested in each element. Currently based in Lawrence, Kansas, Kris Kuksi's early work was born from his education at Fort Hays State University. Kuksi describes his early work as "...gestural portraiture a la Caravaggio to more psychedelic and visceral work, reminiscent of Hieronymus Bosch and H.R. Giger." These classical inspirations would carry him into his current techniques, as he draws inspiration from old masters such as Bernini.
