Gene Wineland is a lifelong artist whose talent transcends mediums. Wineland's "jack of all trades" attitude towards artistic processes results in a plethora of knowledge, which he translated into a career in art education. Acting as a collegiate art educator for nearly 35 years, Wineland taught at many Kansas universities such as Pratt Community College, Wichita State University, Johnson County Community College, and Fort Hays State University. In addition to acting as a professor, Wineland firmly believes that he will always be a student of the arts due to an innate drive to create. Wineland's work ranges from sculpture to murals and everything in between.
