Gary Kahle is an Oklahoma native who worked as a welder and honed his craft as a sculptor. He discovered his love for sculpture during his recovery time following an industrial injury. His work tows the line between the ordinary and the extraordinary, the representational and the abstract. "During my first 35 years of life there was never any thought of becoming an artist, but some of my hidden creative talents began slipping out when I made custom car parts and other unusual things out of stainless steel in my spare time...In some instances representing the commonplace uncommonly best describes my art." -Gary Kahle
