Barbara Waterman is an artist with a prolific career, having taught at Washburn University and Kansas State University. She went on to receive the Certificate of Recognition from the State of Kansas and the Monroe Award from Washburn University. She is the founder of Topeka's Studio 831, located in the North Topeka Arts & Entertainment District. She also co-founded the Pen & Brush Press.
