Barbara Jarvis was a member of the Kansas Small Oil Painters and helped found the Lincoln Art Center. She used many different mediums: acrylic, oil, watercolor, and collage. "Barbara's works combine interests in landscape, geology, and ancient cultures to reveal human psychological states." She has received numerous awards for her work and has been showcased in shows across Kansas.
