At the start of the new decade of 2020, I have started exploring new ways of expressing myself by mixing it up exploring different mediums. This specific painting was started in oil pastels on red mat board and finished with the oil paint medium Galkyd Lite. The background of the painting was created using a metallic blue paint which is difficult to photograph, creating a reflection with the lighting.

This portrait is part of a series out out gay people from all walks of life. Photographer and artist C.Jones shared this image of him that he took. Here is a statement from the model C.Jones: ”I just want everyone to know that no matter what, through any and all circumstances, i do not know what the fuck I'm doing, ever !” This painting is 1 of 2 paintings that are meant to go together but are sold separately. The second painting is titled Dana.

It is on a 40in. x 30in. on mat board framed in a white w/ blue stripe 1 inch frame for a total size of 41" x 31". The painting was completed on March 8th of 2020.
