- Ken Naganawa
A portrait of the Pryer’s keelback snake which distributes in the southern islands of Japan.
Depicted a scene of the snake moving through the flooded forest floor. Focused on capturing the shape and the texture of its scales. The color pattern represents the population from Okinawa island, which has less saturation in its lighter colored scales compared to that of the population in Amami island.
