57th Anniversary Juried Member's Exhibit - 2025

Amanda began her career as a medical textile engineer, developing innovative machinery and materials for seven years. Her interest in the intersection of form and function led her to pursue a bachelor's degree in Scientific Illustration at the University of Georgia, followed by a Master of Science in Medical Illustration from Augusta University. Amanda has produced educational materials for the Children's Hospital of Georgia and the Georgia Museum of Natural History, and her work has been featured at the Fernbank Science Center. She has also earned accolades from international competitions, including the W3 Media Awards and the MUSE Awards. As the Scientific Illustration area chair at the University of Georgia, Amanda is committed to providing students with a strong career foundation by emphasizing drafting principles and industry practices.
