Figs and their wasps are entirely dependent on one another for their survival... one of the most amazing examples of TRUE Symbiosis, which is "the intimate living together of two different organisms in a mutually beneficial relationship." Trying to express this in a simplified, visual format nearly brought me to madness and led to a cartoon of my exploding head being included on the label that accompanied the art for our GNSI-Fingerlakes Symbiosis show.
