This piece was created as part of an information booklet for Alberta ranchers. We wanted to show in one image some of the main species that benefit from badger tunnelling, including western tiger salamanders, swift foxes, common nighthawks, burrowing owls, and western diamondback rattlesnakes. They also help ranchers by controlling the Richardson ground squirrel populations.
