The Shortnose Sucker is a Federally Endangered species endemic to the Upper Klamath Basin in Oregon and northern California. These illustrations, along with detailed morpho-meristics, were developed to distinguish between larvae of this species and the Lost River Sucker. Funding was provided by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Pacific Southwest Region.
