Dayton's Wall is one of the Southern most accessible dive sites on the planet—Ross Sea, Antarctica. The thriving sea floor community is susceptible to changing ocean conditions, which have remained stable until recently. While diving, the artist recorded sea life movements with delicate contour drawings. Color and details added post-dive tell vibrant stories about the discoveries made. Through the process of transforming a field sketch into the completed artwork, relationships and unexpected insights are revealed.
