The illustration was made as part of my work at the Lisbon Archeology Center
The Lisbon Archaeology Centre is developing a research project on fossils, rocks and human occupation, in the Lisbon region, in the last 100 million years, from Cretaceous to Quaternary. The project aims to create "windows" dedicated to Palaeontology, Geology and Archaeology that will allow revisiting various geological ages of the territories, immersed and emersed, once existing in this region.
This reconstitution of a fish that existed during the Upper Cretaceous in the Lisbon region was accompanied by an ichthyologist specialized in Biodiversity and Ecosystem Functioning from MARE-Center for Marine and Environmental Sciences.
