The wild Canoe Country of northern Minnesota is home to four canids: wolves, coyotes, red foxes and grey foxes. Although they don’t all share the same landscape at the same time, this image captures accurate relative sizes within the physical dimensions of the basswood block I had at hand when carving this woodcut.
