The silky sifaka (Propithecus candidus) is one of nine species of sifaka in Madagascar and lives in a limited tropical rainforest in the northeastern part of the island. Its body hair is pure white and parts of the skin on its snout and limbs are pinkish white. It is listed as Critically Endangered on the UCN Red List .
