2022 Juried Members' Exhibition

Throughout my art practice, I have developed expertise in various drawing, painting, illustration, graphic design, animation, and digital techniques. As a research scholar, I engaged in scientific projects within the interdisciplinary field of digital art applied to archaeology. Following this, I pursued further specialization in naturalistic and scientific illustration through accredited university and museum courses. Currently, I teach online courses focused on natural science illustration and watercolor at Northwestern Michigan College and am an active member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators (GNSI).

I draw continual inspiration from the diversity and complexity of the natural world, particularly enjoying the depiction of distinctive bird species, exotic flowers, unusual insects, and captivating marine life using graphite, colored pencils, watercolor, and gouache.
