Ivona Mariș x
With the hope of becoming a full-time natural history and scientific illustrator in the near future, Ivona Mariș has attended various scientific illustration courses in the last years and loves traditional techniques like graphite, ink, and watercolor. Recently she begun experimenting scratchboard and printmaking techniques. Her favorite themes focus on entomology, ornithology, and botany. Based in Romania, she takes much of her inspiration from her garden and nearby Mureș Floodplain Natural Park.
