In 2021 I photographed, identified, and digitally illustrated all the mushrooms I could find around my home, a mixture of woodland, wetland, and meadow habitats. Whether growing slowly or appearing overnight after a rain, the species I found were diverse in color, size, shape and texture. This project brought me immense personal satisfaction and enabled me to learn more about mycology and fungi identification.
