Illustration of endangered species in captivity: parrots of the Oasis Bird Sanctuary. Unwanted, unhomed, damaged and special needs birds are overwhelming parrot sanctuaries. The pet bird trade continues to fuel this horrendous situation. Oasis shelters and loves more than 800 birds for life. Oasis supports parrot conservation and this image was developed for a fundraiser shedding light on the plight of parrots in the wild and in life-long care.
