The migrations around the Arctic Circle weave a complex interconnected web between the species, peoples, and industries that rely on the region. Pressures from climate change add to the complexity of this web in ways we already seeing and some that we have yet to see. Some species featured include Caribou, Reindeer, Polar Bear, Arctic Char, Arctic Fox, Snowy Owl, Arctic Wolf, and peoples who rely on this region for survival.

C.J. Ellison is an artist and illustrator based outside of Chicago, IL.
Even from a young age, Ellison lived with a foot in the world of art and the world of science. Art was her medium of choice but the natural world and all it entails remained as captivating as it was inspiring. After working in commercial media and entertainment, including designing toys for Universal Studios 'Jurassic World', she returned to her true passion: bringing scientific awareness, knowledge, and inspiration through illustration.
Outside of her professional work, Ellison spends much time outdoors, volunteers for local conservation efforts, and plays the bagpipes.
