Lunaria annua - Honesty

The dry fruit of the mustard family is a two parted capsule. Shown here are the remants of the fruit of Lunaria annua. The slvery tissue of the replum a major feature in dry flower arrangements. I chose to abandon the traditional white background in this case to enhance the delicacy of the fruits.
