From Six Legged Sex by Jim Wangberg. This graphite illustration is one of over 50 drawings included in this light-hearted, yet very well researched book about the sex lives of insects. The client required that the illustrations educate and illustrate the described activity yet keep "light" and lively. I worked closely with the entomologist and drew directly from pinned insect specimens.
