Growing Up Peito-roso

This work was created to contribute to the Ninho de Papagaio Project and specifically the Programa Papagaio de Peixo-roxo, featuring this beautiful parrot as it grows up wild and free. The projects promote artificial nestbox "adoptions", re-introduction, protection and habitat preservation for this and 3 other species at danger of extirpation from poaching and habitat loss. The Roxinhos are the symbol of the Floresta de Araucária, a unique type of forest that have been eliminated through much of the Atlantic biomes of Brasil.
