This piece is rendered in pen and ink using my signature 'scribble hatch' technique, based on a photograph I took while on vacation. Working with traditional dip pen and ink, I developed the linework by hand to capture a graphic novel aesthetic. The final piece was then enhanced with colorization techniques in Photoshop.
