This painting of the Comma butterfly, not only shows the adult but certain stages of its life cycle. It was painted for a travelling exhibition of Moths, Butterflies and Pollinating Insects of the East Coast sponsored by a local chapter of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators. The original and laser prints are 18"x 24".
