Earth's Seven Spheres

A novel perspective of the Earth's seven spheres: heliosphere, atmosphere, cryosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, geosphere, and anthrosphere. Professor W. Sean Chamberlin hired Fiona Martin to create oceanography e-textbook figures geared toward college students in urban Los Angeles. The anthrosphere is placed centrally, suggesting it has a disproportionate impact on the other six natural domains. The graphic is designed to be legible on mobile devices.
