I studied Organic and Physical Chemistry and I am holding a PhD in Molecular Biology and Enzymology. However most of my scientific career I have worked at the intersection of Structural Computational Biology and Biomedicine. My life as a researcher has taken me to different countries as diverse as UK, The Netherlands, Spain, Singapore and Japan. This diverse background has imprinted me with an eclectic way of approaching my science and life in general.
After my maternity, I decided to make some changes as well in my professional life and dove into the illustration and animation world to combine my fascination for science with my passion for more artistic avenues.
I am committed to contribute in solving the scientific communication problem between my ex-peers and the Society. My motto is: “Let’s Unleash the Creativity to bridge the gap between Science and Society. “If I can illustrate it, you can understand it”.
