A Bar Kokhba (or Kochba) silver shekel/tetradrachm from Jewish Revolt year 2, 133 CE. On the obverse, the Jewish temple façade with the rising star, surrounded by Bar Kokhba “Shimon," the leader of the revolt. On the reverse: a "lulav," a closed date palm tree frond, with the text “to the freedom of Jerusalem.”
