Zoomorphic jade figurine identified as from Hongshan culture (4700 – 2900 BCE). Sculpture made of brown marbled stone with deep-red highlights. Creature has two round eyes, suggesting female creature, two ears swept back from prominent head, and nose and mouth flush with face. Figure has hole punctured through from top of ears to bottom of ears.
