Jade sculpture from the Hongshan culture (4700 – 2900 BCE). Either end of convex sculpture depict animal heads both with ears, eyes, snout, and exposed teeth. Body is adorned with symmetrical pattern. Holes puncture animal heads on both sides through mouth. Stone is deep brown.
