- Robin Coleman
Robin Coleman, born in 1963, is a self-taught artist from Kent. He began painting as a form of stress release after being diagnosed with a debilitating spinal disease. He then took his work to a new dimension by creating collages using newsprint, magazine cuttings and stamps. He also references vintage comic characters, often using the originals.
Robin Coleman (b. 1963) became an artist when he had a vision whilst in a coma after a serious accident. He has, since his Damascene conversion, exhibited in California, Paris, Dubai and Cape Town. He references vintage comic characters, often using the originals. His pictures take hours of dedication, all created by the artist himself – closer examination reveals incredibly detailed collage work.
