A friend and I were discussing some of the strange things our pets do and I was like “why can I just have a normal pet?” and my friend said “…I think this confirms my theory that all creatures have at least one weird thing.” I love that, and so true! Made me think about my paintings—weird is essential , it keeps my brain and eyes happy, and I’m always asking, is it weird enough?
