Artist: Thomas Williams
I have been influenced by a variety of styles since I was introduced to art at the age of 10. But I’ve always had a great affinity for the proponents of Realism and Baroque. Those who have mastered these styles show an artistic ability to capture the emotional as well as the active essence of a particular moment in time. I have spent my career actively striving to perfect this aspect of my craft. I perceive my own artwork as the physical manifestation of my creativity and vision. This suffusion helps to “breathe life,” into my object’s d’art. I am most enamored with oils; I feel that they bring boldness to my art. I rely on oils to assist in transforming my subjects into vivid and realistic depictions of that which is nebulous. The work that I create is the fruit of my combined imagination and perception.
