Joel Utuedor was a Lagos State based artist inNigeria..He had his early education in Festac town, Lagos State And his secondary school at baptist boys high school Abeokuta before he advanced to Auchi Polytechnic in 1993. He graduated with higher national diploma in fine art (HND) 1997.

Joel has participated in several art exhibitions which includes local and international art exhibitions, such as

Joel Utuedor is a renowned artist who has contributed immensely in the field of art which he declared in his artist statement that his role models are Micheal Angelo and Ben Liestenhower.
His favorite mediums are oil and acrylic paint on textured canvas, which are very synonymous to him. With no doubt Joel Utuedor is one of the best in the areas of monochrome paintings, portraits and nude painting.
