Born and raised in sunny southern California, Dwayne Wilson has been creating art for more than 25 years in a variety of styles and mediums. Currently an art teacher, coach, and board member of an arts-based non-profit (The Arts Empowerment Project), his passion extends beyond the studio and classroom walls, as he also includes his students in his public murals and community-based projects. In an effort to spark engagement, excitement, and interest in the arts, Dwayne hosts an after-school enrichment art programs twice a week for youth, and bi- weekly public art workshops on weekends.

He has also received two degrees from California State University, Fullerton (B.F.A. in Digital Illustration, and M.F.A. in Painting & Drawing) and East Carolina University (M.A. Ed. of Arts Education).
