Divinity was born from the powerful legacy of Goddess Isis, Queen Cleopatra and her daughter Selena in 2019. A tribute to their strength and conviction, this mixed media assemblage was created for a group exhibition titled "Then She Did." As the last pharaoh standing with immense courage under Roman rule, it is no surprise that Cleopatra took on many facets of Egyptian culture like artistry language as she reincarnated Goddess Isis. Her daughter Selena then continued such tradition by resurrecting her mother’s faith after ascending to become Mauretania's queen.
