- Kris Kuksi
The central figure of this work, continues its reference to Ancient Rome's first Emperors, although as a Kuksi work, it is a mix of historical references, cultural subtexts, and contemporary themes. Juxtaposing disparate elements, Kuksi's works continue to comment on war, religion, technology, and sex. As with the first edition, the central figure is the same for each work, however, each sculpture becomes unique and one-of-a-kind as each is adorned and refined with individual elements. The assemblage of multiple elements creates 50 small works that are distinctly Kris Kuksi. As with the first edition, the central figure is the same for each work, however, each sculpture becomes unique and one-of-a-kind as each is adorned and refined with individual elements.
