Patrons enter the gallery filled with over 25 pieces of mixed media art produced in response to the current political climate, to this United States administration, to gun violence, and to America’s appalling collective apathy.
My goal is to extend the feeling of protest and resistance with both humor and rage. “Does this act of art as protest help?” one may ask. I say, “YES”.
I may not march every day but I can make art, and make more art until it makes a difference.
