Looking down from my studio at the courtyard below, there is a drug problem in our city. I see people waiting, ready to pick up or deliver. Some homeless people wander, otehrs are camped out in makeshift tents in the corner of the Car Park. Violence might erupt.... but doesn't . This painting is a description of the feeling of defensive power in the face of aggressions. Some may see it as an aggressive force, but for me it expressed my uncompromising attitude towards evil. And through the expression of an unseen force, there was healing.
