The Hot Yellowstone series uses a technique I call, "compressed fabric". Cast off clothing, household linens and other textiles are cut into strips and layered into a custom made boxlike frame. Archival adhesives are used to fuse and seal the fabrics within the frame. When completed, each piece is given a UV and fabric protector treatment.
