Angela Davis grew up not far from my home in North Minneapolis. She attended North Community High School and was a student of mine. She was already a practicing artist by the time she got to high school, due in large part to the influence of her mother, Annette Davis, also a fine artist. Angela is passionate about her community and passionate about her painting, recently completing a series of wildly designed skateboards.
