Journal Entry - August 15, 1919
Today, Arthur and I ventured out to the fields to tend to the crops under the warm Kansas sun. In those shared moments, amidst the rustling wheat and the distant hum of cicadas, I felt a connection that went beyond mere friendship. Our conversations flowed freely, and I found comfort in the understanding glances we exchanged. As the day drew to a close, I couldn't help but feel grateful for Arthur's presence, a confidant who knows me in ways others may never comprehend.
