Emerald Ash Borer is one of my "Terrible Beauty" series, a reference to W.B. Yeats poem, "Easter, 1916". While the Irish were unsuccessful in their Easter rebellion against the British, "a terrible beauty was born." Nature provides us with many terrible beauties.
The piece is nicely matted, unframed.
