Dreamscapes

Art has always inspired me throughout my career as a banker, but it was not until after my retirement that I actually tried my hand at it.
With no formal degree in art, all I learnt was from the internet, the history, mediums, genres, and also biographies of famous artists - I found it all fascinating.
I lose myself in this form of expression and just have fun exploring and mixing colours.
Watercolour has a mind of its own, it flows and creates exotic fusions in colour and patterns, sometimes difficult to control.
Recently I starting delving in acrylics too, which is a much easier to manage.

We recently moved to Farmington Woods and I was happy to see that art is thriving here.

I like to try everything, and have no specific preference for themes, however Farmington inspires me to do more nature related scenes.
