A large group of hand-formed wire bird sculptures by Thomas Hill, sold as a whole or individually. Some pieces mount of the wall with white wires and some hang with clear monofilament. Tomas Hill is a British San Francisco-based sculptor. He sketches birds in nature and then transforms his ideas into wire. His craftsmanship and sense of energy built into to his sculptural forms is truly wonderful. “The mystery of why starlings make these murmuration has been speculated for some time but the reason is unknown. Some believe it’s practical because of safety in numbers, but we like to believe that it’s more joyous for them to be together, enjoying their flight with each other.”
