SIGNED ORIGINAL CERAMIC TILE PAINTING BY HUNGARIAN SURREALIST ARTIST ADAM WURTZ (1927-1994).
This unique original ceramic tile painting is signed and dated in the glaze by the artist lower right corner: Wurtz ‘83
The tile painting has the appearance of having been kiln fired, glossy glazed painting on an unglazed matte brick color ceramic tile made by Epulet Keramia, Budapest.
This tile painting by Adam Wurtz, with strong elements of Surrealism exploring the artist's fantasies, is a fine example of the artist’s work. The tile measures 8 x 8 inches by 3/8 inch thick and weighs 1 pound 14 ounces.
